Losing It.

So yesterday I was lovingly taken to a Les Schwab by my friend Jim. We waited in line to finally buy chains for my saturn, which btw needs these special Quick Trak chains $360 for only 2.
I broke down and bought them, get home put them on and went driving in the snow around 7 last night. Everything was awesome, the chains are awesome (better be for that price right?). Next day I go to take the family to the hospital because the kids have fevers and on the way both chains fly off and one get crunched by some car. Totally pissed me off. That is like throwing $200 bucks out the window.
Once I found the chains, and sarah was finished running in the freeway to pickup the pieces, we kept on driving to the hospital but for some reason the Garmin gps we were using freaked out and took us to somewhere around The Waffle Window.
Again, so pissed.
We ended up just driving home. Me taking big deep breaths. Sarah, trying to calm down the kids. And out chains, sitting comfy in the truck.

All this to say, we are safe and sound. Loving each other even with the snow storms. This Christmas will definitely go down in the books as the Toughest Christmas Ever.
